The Welcome Home Forum

Conversations that strengthen our civic fabric through leadership and service.

The Welcome Home Forum convenes leaders from Missouri and beyond—government officials, business executives, innovators and entrepreneurs, military and veterans, and community leaders—for candid, in-person conversations that share insights, explore ideas, and strengthen the social and economic fabric of our communities.

The Next Mission:
Missouri’s Veterans Leading The Way

The next Welcome Home Forum will take place at Washington University in St. Louis and will bring together veterans, business executives, and civic leaders for a focused conversation on leadership, service, and Missouri’s path forward. The program features a keynote address by General Frank Grass, former Chief of the National Guard Bureau and member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, followed by a business leader panel highlighting veterans leading in technology, workforce, and economic growth.

The forum also includes a briefing on recent Missouri legislative activity affecting veterans and an overview of clinically supervised alternative therapeutic approaches to veteran mental health.

Designed as an in-person convening, the Welcome Home Forum creates space for candid discussion, connection, and shared responsibility across sectors.

Message from the Founder

The Welcome Home Forum began with my experience in Bangor, Maine on my way home from Iraq. A small group of strangers waited to welcome us home with gifts, hugs, and thank you’s. Their generosity left a mark on me.

I wanted to honor that spirit in a practical way by creating a place where leaders from every sector can show up, speak candidly, and share experiences that strengthen the civic fabric of our communities.
